Tech-stack change: an AI agent that spots accounts adopting or dropping the tools you work with
The tech-stack change agent tracks the software that accounts in your ICP use. When a company adopts a tool you integrate with, or drops one you replace, it flags the account and tells the owner what changed and why it's a reason to get in touch. Your team decides whether to reach out.
We design every agent around how you sell. This page shows our starting design for this one.
- When it runs
- Every week.
- Works in
- A technographic data provider you choose, company websites, job postings and your CRM.
- Waits for a person
- Any outreach. Alerts go to your team only.
- How you know it works
- Changes caught, meetings booked from them, and the pipeline they create.
What it does
- Agrees with you which tools matter: the ones you integrate with, the ones you replace and the ones your best customers use.
- Checks each account's stack every week through your data provider, the company's website and its job postings.
- Confirms a change in two sources before flagging it, so one stale data point doesn't set off an alert.
- Writes the change into the account record in your CRM.
- Alerts the owner with a suggested angle, such as "they've moved to HubSpot, and we integrate with HubSpot".
What it hands your team
Brightside switched its CRM to HubSpot
- Evidence
- HubSpot tracking code on their website since last week, and a new job posting for a HubSpot admin.
- Why it matters
- You integrate with HubSpot, and they're setting up their new stack now.
- Next
- Owner alerted, with a suggested first line.
Example output. The companies and people are made up.
Questions about the tech-stack change agent
Where does the tech-stack data come from?
From a technographic provider you choose, plus what the agent can see on the company's website and in its job postings. You pay the provider's licence.
How accurate is technographic data?
It depends on the tool. Tracking code on a website gives marketing tools away; back-office software is harder to see. The agent checks two sources before it flags a change, and says which ones it used.
Which changes matter most?
The ones linked to your own wins. We check which tools your customers adopted or dropped before they bought, and weight those.
